So excited for my Cozy Earth review as I think everyone should experience the feeling of bamboo viscose. Cozy Earth offers sheets and pajamas plus Cozy Earth clothing comes in flowy neutrals perfect for summer – all of which I’ve been using / wearing.

Bamboo is by far the softest fabric I’ve had experienced in the world of natural and eco-friendly textiles and Cozy Earth is probably the go-to brand for bamboo everything. Most known for their bamboo bedding and loungewear, Cozy Earth offers everything from bamboo bath towels to bamboo clothing. But what they’re obviously missing is bamboo underwear, which is the absolute best feeling ever. Bamboo is softer than organic cotton, supima cotton, hemp and all else. It’s no wonder that Cozy Earth makes it in Oprah’s Favorites list every year. Read on for my Cozy Earth review and save 45% with Cozy Earth discount code OBL45.

Cozy Earth Sheets Review

Bamboo is the ultimate fabric choice for sheets if you want the most comfortable sleep. Made from bamboo-derived viscose, Cozy Earth Sheets feature a sateen weave that helps prevent pulling and discoloration. Not only is bamboo the softest fabric to sleep on it also helps wick moisture away from the sleeper for excellent temperature regulation.

Cozy Earth produces its viscose from organically farmed and wild-harvested bamboo that is grown pesticide-free. They also use a patented fiber treatment process that recycles wastewater and avoids the use of harsh chemicals.

Cozy Earth sheets feel incredibly soft and cooling at the same time. My partner runs very hot at night and prefers the bamboo viscose to any other fabric, though I can tolerate a wide variety of fabrics. It feels like being cocooned in a cloud, and the same goes for their clothing.

Cozy Earth Pajamas & Clothing

There’s nothing that feels as good as bamboo pajamas when you’re sleeping or lounging during the evenings.

Above my partner is wearing the Cozy Earth Coastal Comfort Shorts in the color Storm. He finds them comfortable and breathable during the summer, but his favorite is the Coastal Comfort Cuffed Pants. Both pants are made of 88% Tencel, 12% Linen and he immediately noticed that they’re high quality. The pants are good enough to wear for work or play, making them versatile for all occasions.

Recently, there’s been more of a shift to sustainable and eco fashion and an acceptance of treating one’s fashion purchases as a mindful investment – one that impacts the environment, the people at every point of the supply chain and communities around the world.

Cozy earth review

Cozy Earth prioritizes making their products responsibly and ethically at every point. They pride themselves in making the most responsibly sourced, authentic, high-quality viscose from bamboo textiles.

Cozy Earth invests in working directly with every supplier from start to end product, which includes the farmers, the fiber producers, the yarn makers and weavers, treatment facilities, bag makers, label makers and more. Cozy Earth also ensures good working conditions, fair labor practices, avoiding the use of caustic chemicals and a fiber process that recycles water and does not release waste into the environment.

Another noteworthy part of Cozy Earth’s business practices is that they have their own proprietary supply chain. While majority of bedding companies buy ready-made products through middlemen and trade companies then utilize branding and marketing to make it theirs, Cozy Earth developed direct relationships in order to make a superior product all their own.

If you’re not in need of bedding, the obvious purchase from Cozy Earth would have to be their pajamas, loungeawear and bathrobes. These are soft as a cloud and are supremely comfortable. After years of wear and laundry, mine have stayed intact. I personally prefer the darker colors so that small stains aren’t as noticeable, but they offer nearly a dozen colors and patterns to choose from now.

The Cozy Earth bathrobe feels just like a luxury hotel bathrobe if not better. It’s so plush and comfortable, and I love that the length goes almost down to ankles. I’m 5’5 for reference.

  • USDA Organic and toxin-free
  • Durable and high quality
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Supremely soft (nothing is softer than their bamboo viscose)

About Bamboo Viscose

If you’re interested in learning more about the material Cozy Earth uses, bamboo viscose, I’m sharing a guide below.

The Ultimate Guide to Bamboo Viscose

Bamboo viscose is quickly gaining popularity as a sustainable and eco-friendly fabric option. In fact, global bamboo viscose production is expected to reach 30,000 tons by 2025. But what exactly is bamboo viscose? And why is it becoming such a popular choice? In this ultimate guide, we’ll break down everything you need to know about bamboo viscose. From its benefits to its drawbacks, the next paragraphs will break down its unique features and give you tips on how to care for it.

What is Bamboo Viscose?

Bamboo viscose is a type of fabric made from the cellulose fibers of the bamboo plant. The process of creating bamboo viscose involves turning the bamboo pulp into fibers that are then spun into yarn and woven into fabric. What makes bamboo viscose unique is its ability to be both incredibly soft and durable. It also has natural moisture-wicking properties, making it a great choice for activewear and underwear.

Benefits of Bamboo Viscose

Bamboo viscose has become a popular choice for clothing and bedding due to its numerous benefits. One of the most significant advantages of bamboo viscose is its softness. Compared to cotton, bamboo viscose is incredibly smooth and gentle on the skin, making it an excellent choice for those with sensitive skin. Additionally, bamboo viscose has natural moisture-wicking properties that keep the wearer cool and dry, making it ideal for activewear and undergarments.

Not only is bamboo viscose soft and moisture-wicking, but it is also incredibly durable. The fibers of bamboo viscose are strong and resilient, meaning that clothing and bedding made from this fabric can last for years with proper care. Bamboo viscose is also naturally hypoallergenic, making it an excellent choice for those with allergies or asthma.

Moreover, bamboo viscose is an eco-friendly choice for clothing and bedding. Bamboo is a renewable resource that grows quickly without the need for pesticides or fertilizers, making it a sustainable and environmentally friendly option. The process of creating bamboo viscose also uses less water and energy than traditional cotton farming methods, reducing its carbon footprint.

Drawbacks of Bamboo Viscose

Despite its many benefits, bamboo viscose also has some drawbacks to consider before making a purchase. One issue is that the process of turning bamboo into viscose involves the use of chemicals such as sodium hydroxide and carbon disulfide. These chemicals can be harmful to the environment and to the workers involved in the manufacturing process if not properly handled. Additionally, the quality of the final product can vary depending on the processing methods used by different manufacturers, making it important to do research and choose a reputable brand.

Another potential drawback of bamboo viscose is that it may not be as durable as some other materials. While it is known for being soft and comfortable, it may also be prone to pilling and fading over time. This means that it may not be the best choice for items that will be subjected to heavy wear and tear, such as athletic wear or children’s clothing.

Despite these potential drawbacks, bamboo viscose is still a popular choice for many people who value its eco-friendly properties and soft feel.

How to Care for Bamboo Viscose

To ensure that your bamboo viscose items last as long as possible, proper care instructions must be followed. Bamboo viscose clothing should be washed in cool or warm water, and not hot water, to avoid damage to the fibers. It is also best to avoid using fabric softeners and bleach, as these products can weaken the fibers and cause discoloration.

When it comes to drying bamboo viscose clothing, it is best to avoid using a dryer altogether. Instead, hang the clothing to air dry to prevent shrinkage and damage to the fibers. If a dryer must be used, it should be set to a low heat setting.

When storing bamboo viscose clothing, it is important to keep it away from direct sunlight or heat sources as these can cause colors to fade and fibers to break down. It is also best to store bamboo viscose clothing flat or folded, rather than hanging, to avoid stretching and damage to the fibers.
